Shanghai Yangsi Hospital is a non-profit general hospital located in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Established in 2004, it is a designated hospital of Shanghai Medical Insurance and New Rural Cooperative Medical Insurance. The hospital has 550 beds, and received over 1.5 million out-patients and emergency patients in 2015 and nearly 20 thousand in-patients.

According to the list of “Top 100 Competitive Chinese Non-public Hospitals” released by Hong Kong Ailibi Hospital Management Research Center in 2015, Yangsi Hospital ranked No. 50 and ranked the first among Shanghai private hospitals in the list.

The hospital has over 800 employers at present, including 589 medical workers and 98 with senior professional titles. There are 25 primary departments and 75 secondary class departments in the hospital. The advantageous departments among Shanghai social medical institutions are Departments of Gastroenterology, Urologic Surgery, Orthopedics, Stomatology and Endocrinology, with complete edentulous in Stomatology and intermediate and advanced stage hepatoma (interventional treatment) in Hepatic Surgery being distinctive specialized departments. The hospital has already obtained 17 class II and class III technology admittance programs; several of them are admittance programs for tertiary hospitals. The hospital focuses on providing high-quality medical care for residents living around, and sets up 5 community service centers and provides medical services for 1000 nursing home beds.

Since September 30, 2014, Yangsi Hospital has officially become the first subsidiary hospital operated and managed by Hospital Corporation of China Limited.
